What

Daniel Maier-Reimer‘s artistic practice consists of hikes, some of which last for weeks or months. On these hikes, he exposes
himself to the landscape. At the end of each journey, he produces a photograph.
To present his journeys, Daniel Maier-Reimer invites colleagues to present his journey within their own specific working methods –
in the format: as Presented by.

I have decided to present the journey to the River Beibja within my work. The river flows through the last primeval forest in Europe. It rises on the Polish–Belarusian border and flows into the River Narew. And it is surrounded by marshland.
